sculptures

eternal-fungi presents bronze sculptures cast from real forest mushrooms, preserving every bite mark, twist and collapse with almost forensic precision. Christian Werner treats each specimen as a collaborator rather than a model: nature determines the form, while the foundry fixes it in time through metal and fire. The result is a series of quiet yet monumental works in which fragile, short‑lived fruiting bodies gain a dense, lasting presence, hovering between natural history relic and contemporary sculpture.
