lactarius II

This miniature bronze sculpture is a highly detailed representation of a single gilled Lactarius mushroom, featuring intricate vertical striations and tattered edges on the cap's underside. The artwork has a dark, naturalistic patina with rich browns, blacks, and distinct turquoise oxidation in the crevices, meticulously mimicking an aged forest specimen. The mushroom is mounted on a wooden stem, which is affixed to a wider, circular cork ring base. Every sculpture is unique and limited to one piece.
